Murder Mystery Dinner Theater features the “Love Beads” Reunion Tour
Enjoy a night of entertainment at Twin Falls Resort State Park near Mullens as “A Groovy Kind of Murder” mystery dinner theatre is scheduled Saturday, February 2, 2008.
The murder mystery is under the direction of Karen Vuranch of Fayetteville, WV. The mystery revolves around The Love Beads. Twenty years ago these talented singers were all classmates at Loveland University, fondly referred to as Love U, and formed The Love Beads to protest the starving children in Malakai. Their farewell concert before graduating was cancelled after a disastrous Love-In and Peace March, but they are getting back together. Some of the singers want the group to continue their career. But someone has an ulterior motive and will stop at nothing short of murder.
The Love Beads will be performing at several of West Virginia’s state parks in 2008. The state park activities and events calendar is available at (304) 558-2764, by mail, or go online to www.wvstateparks.com to see all scheduled dinner theaters.
Cost for the dinner theater only is $38 per adult and $30 per child. A package price of $131 includes dinner for two, theater for two and overnight accommodations in the lodge. Other package options are available. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the murder mystery will begin between 7:30 and 8 p.m.
Advance reservations are required. For more information, call Twin Falls Resort State Park at: (304) 294-4000 or 1-800 CALL WVA and ask for Twin Falls or email: twinfallsresort@wvdnr.gov.
